As early as 2011, Tinno Mobile has begun to invest in France to set up a joint-venture subsidiary named Wiko SAS, specialized in selling of mobile phone product and operating of Wiko brand. After several years of development, Wiko has become a familiar brand name for young people in France, and is deeply loved by French and even the European consumers. The Wiko brand has ranked second in the French Open market for four consecutive years since 2014, according to GfK, an international investigative agency, and Wiko is a leader in other European markets, ranking fourth in Italy, Belgium and Portugal and fifth in Spain and Germany.
The French ambassador is very concerned about the investment of Wiko in France, and also paying close attention to the development of Wiko brand in the future. He said he would continue to support the Wiko brand, hoping that this born in France brand can carry forward and flourish better and better.
During the dinner, they also discussed and exchanged in-depth discussions on the influence of“the Belt and Road”policies on the private enterprises. This business exchange activity left a deep impression on us, but also let the company has a more determined confidence for the future development in France.
